The grape, Vitis vinifera, is sequenced September 1, 2007

The genome of the Pinot Noir grape (strain: PN 40024), has been sequenced by a french-led (Genoscope, Evry), french-italian group of researchers. It is the first fruit crop genome sequenced!

You can add RSS feeds, and other web services to a virtual personal home page using contents from other sites (e.g. Weather forecast for your town, news feeds from on-line journals and from other sites offering their content as RSS feed.

Peekko - Firefox extention to ‘chat a web page’

PeekooJanuary 2006 was released Peekko, an extention for Firefox 1.5, which allows to chat with others on the current web page.
The author has set up an IRC server which creates for each domain of a web page automatically a separate channel and logs you in there. It’s cool and a new combination of existing
technologies.
